Our world is erupting. October 7 brought us to the most brutal day of antisemitism since the Holocaust. It didn’t take long for the vile hatred to explode. Celebrations on the street as we mourned babies burned, women violated, families extinguished, and innocents taken hostage into dark underground tunnels.
I write this after the murder of a couple exiting the Jewish museum in the capital as the killer fired 21 shots and screamed “Free, free Palestine.” Instead of condemnation, social media posts glorified the murder. The evil act has been praised, the gunman called a ‘hero’, a ‘brave man’, and lauded. A cryptocurrency has been launched with his despicable name.
And who can fathom the tragic death of Tze’ela Gez as she was driving to deliver her baby together with her husband, Hananel? A laser pointed at her face and in the next instant she was gone. Hananel is left to raise his three boys and the newborn infant alone. The baby, Ravid Chaim, lost crucial moments of oxygen and requires the tefillot of Am Yisrael. A mother on her way to what should be the greatest moment of joy, bringing new life into this world, instead lies lifeless on the side of the road.
How did we get here?
World, you are guilty! “Kol demai achicha tzoakim alai min ha’adamah – the voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground!”

The university presidents and professors who have defended rabid malicious speech as ‘free speech’. You have stood silent as your campuses filled with toxic hatred. You have shrugged your shoulders, played dumb when questioned, and turned your back on the pleas of your Jewish students who felt unsafe and terrified under your watch.
J’ACCUSE!
The students who harassed Jewish students, destroyed property, disrupted classes, and ruined graduations with their blood libels against our nation. Your misguided protests have blurred the lines between truth and falsehood. You have held up as heroes those who call for the destruction of Western civilization upon whose foundation this country stands. You scream to ‘globalize the intifada’. Now you have blood on your hands. You are destroying that which is good, and upholding all that is evil.

The U.N. – a hypocritical, unapologetic, poisonous den of Jew-hating members who veil their antisemitism under the guise of anti-Zionism. As if being anti-Zionist is okay because it’s Israelis that we are despising. Ignoring the barbarism of regimes around the world, you continuously focus your ridiculously biased resolutions on Israel. Your commissions for human rights around the world somehow never recognized the Israeli women who were desecrated or the suffering hostages who are still being held. Tim Fletcher, the U.N. under-secretary general for humanitarian affairs announced on the BBC that 14,000 babies will die in Gaza within 24 hours. After spreading his lies to millions, the U.N. retracted its own report. Too little. Too late.

The foreign governments who have turned a blind eye to the massacre, the savagery, the open calls to throw us into the sea. You are always ready to build monuments to assuage your guilt from killing six million of our people. We don’t need your stone memorials and plaques. We do need you to realize that we are the nation of Israel, a tiny country surrounded by those who wish to snuff the life out of us, fighting tenaciously for our life. You are standing on the wrong side of history.
And to the foreign governments who have pumped billions into our educational system, from kindergartens to colleges, you are underhandedly wishing to sow seeds of chaos, fear and violence in the U.S. You have backed textbooks that distort history, paid for professors and chairs that radicalize young minds, and financed the thousands of groups that spread hatred for Jews like a fast growing malignant cancer. You are the birthparents of terror and bloodshed. How do you sleep at night and look at yourselves in the mirror each day?
The list can go on. The Hollywood stars, the Kanyes of the world who sing (!) ‘Heil Hitler’ with a chorus, the mainstream news outlets, the podcasters with millions of followers. You have all lost your soul. I pity you.
Because despite all your hate, your vicious lies, your desire to destroy us, we are still and will be forever the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are the daughters of Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah. We come from prophets and kings. Hashem has promised that He will forever remember His covenant with us and bring us home.
