Kiddush Hashem Aboard El Al

On Motzaei Yom Tov of the second days of Sukkos, I accidentally called her. I thought I was dialing someone else and was surprised to hear my El Al seatmate’s voice at the other end of the line. She was so happy to hear from me. I shared the evident hashgachah; I meant to call someone else and what hashgachah it was that I reached her.

She told me she was in London on a business trip. On that call she thanked me numerous times for calling and how she'd like to stay in touch. She also reminded me of what I had said on the airplane that things will all fall into place. She told me that she had told all her friends how I made her so excited to come home to Israel. At the end of the day, I’m not sure who really did more for the other person. What a huge kiddush Hashem and what a humbling experience to think how a few kind words can make a difference for eternity.
