Lee Kuan Yew, the man who essentially created modern Singapore died on Monday at age 91.
Singapore's first prime minister ran the country like a tight ship, even to the point of banning chewing gum.
Lee also turned Singapore into one of the wealthiest nations in the world, on a per capita basis.
