Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman spoke today with the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Britain, Belgium, Bulgaria and Norway to thank them for their condemnation of the abduction of the three Israeli teenagers. Liberman expressed Israel’s gratitude for their solidarity with Israel at this difficult time and for the unequivocal position they expressed. Liberman will continue his round of talks with other foreign ministers tomorrow, according to a statement from the foreign ministry.

Liberman also stressed that Israel is determined and will do everything in its power to bring about the release of the teens, and will severely punish those responsible for the abduction.

Liberman has been on a nine-country tour of Africa this week. The statement added that all the heads of state with whom he met have condemned the abduction and emphasized the need for strengthening cooperation with Israel against terrorism that strikes not only the Middle East, but Africa as well.
