Marco Rubio Calls it Quits

After losing his home state of Florida to Donald Trump in the Republican primary in Florida on Tuesday, March 15, Sen. Marco Rubio has ended his run this year to be the Republican nominee for President of the United States.

Trump took 46 percent of Florida's Republican vote, Rubio came in second with 27 percent, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third with 16 percent of the vote and Ohio Gov. John Kasich trailed behind in fourth place with 6.7 percent of the vote.

Initial results show Hillary Clinton receiving 66 percent of the Democratic vote and Vt. Sen. Bernie Sanders with 33 percent of the vote.

Clinton is also well ahead of Sanders in North Carolina and Ohio.
