McCain Solves Iran’s Missing Link: Ahmadinejad Is a Monkey

Sen. John McCain has tweeted what every rational journalist wanted to write Monday: “So Ahmadinejad wants to be first Iranian in space - wasn't he just there last week?”

McCain was referring to Iran’s dubious claim that it sent a monkey into space, but the noble values of a fellow Republican Congressman, an Arab-American, prompted him to label McCain’s comment “racist.”

“Maybe you should wisen up & not make racist jokes,” tweeted back Michigan Rep. Justin Amash.

McCain replied, “Re: Iran space tweet - lighten up folks, can't everyone take a joke?"
