Minister Uri Ariel to Receive Security Detail

Gone are the days when one needs to be a Prime Minister in Israel to have security detail.

Housing Minister Uri ariel (Bayit Yehudi) is the latest MK to be assigned a security detail, following threats on his life.

Following the assassination attempt on Rabbi Yehudah Glick at the Begin Center a few weeks ago, Deputy Speaker Moshe Feiglin was assigned a bodyguard detail. Feiglin and a number of other MKs were in attendance at the Temple Mount conference where the assassination attempt happened.

Ariel's life was threatened on Arab social media sites.
