Nationwide Drill on Tuesday

Their will be a nationwide drill on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, to be held throughout Israel.

Sirens will be sounded at 11:11 AM and 7:15 PM in the Jerusalem area - other locations might be at different times.

As part of the drill, resident should be aware of how long they have to enter the nearest bomb shelter.

On Tuesday, September 20, 2016, sirens will be activated throughout Israel as part of a national emergency exercise.

At 11:11 the sirens will be sounded in the Jerusalem district for half a minute with a rising and falling tone and then at 19:15 sirens will be activated again as part of an evening exercise.

Notices of the exercise will be publicized immediately upon the activation of the siren in all of the different media by the Army's Home Command.

The Home Command calls upon the entire population to take an active part in the exercise and to perform what is necessary upon hearing the siren.
