30 Rockets Strike Israel, Israeli Tank Shells Kill 4, Wound 30 in Gaza

According to the IDF Spokesperson, in response to recent events, overnight IAF aircraft targeted a weapons manufacturing facility, two weapons storage facilities, and two rocket-launching sites in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as a weapons storage facility and a terror activity site in the southern Gaza Strip. Direct hits were confirmed. The Ma'an Palestinian news agency reported that Israeli tank shells killed 4 Palestinians and wounded 30 in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to medics and other witnesses.

Huge Terror Tunnel Explodes Underneath IDF Patrol

An update from the IDF Spokesman's office: An engineering force that operated at the site located a number of powerful explosive devices. With the end of this force's activity, as it worked to repair the border fence, an explosion occurred in a terror tunnel. This was a very large explosion that exposed a tunnel roughly four meters deep and four meters wide. An empty IDF vehicle that was in the area was thrown into the air from the force of the explosion.

Southern Israel: Living on Rockets, Miracles, and the Iron Dome

Days and nights in southern Israel have been punctuated by a growing number of sirens and rocket explosions, with over 60 rockets striking Israeli cities and communities this past week. On Monday morning alone, 55 Qassam and mortar shells were fired from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. The rocket strikes damaged buildings, properties and a kibbutz petting zoo that is usually filled with children, but was empty because of the early morning hour.
