The Israeli Air Force reportedly hit 70 targets between 9 and 10pm Thursday, including underground medium-range rocket launching pads, bringing the total number of IAF strikes in Operation Pillar of Defense to over 300.
The only thing that can prevent Israel from winning this mini-war and neutering Hamas is outside intervention.
The IDF took a shot near Ismael Haniyeh's house. They hit a jeep parked right outside it. Haniyeh is the current head of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority in Gaza.
Hamas has announced that it shot down an Israeli warplane by a land to air missile. The IDF denies the claim. The IDF spokesperson's office assured The Jewish Press that the reported downing of an Israeli plane "never happened."
Palestinian sources in Gaza reported that the commander of Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Gaza, Salem Thabet, escape an attempt on his life after the air force attacked the house he was in.
The funeral for Mira Sharf has begun in Jerusalem. Sharf was killed in a rocket attack on Thursday in Kiryat Melachi. She was a a Chabad Shaliach. Her husband Shmulik and their children are currently still in the hospital. Aharon Samdaja and Itzik Amsalem were also killed in the rocket attack.

1:37 PM Channel 2 Israel TV: Hamas holding 43 diplomats hostage, and not allowing them to leave the Gaza strip. The diplomats are being held by Hamas at the Erez crossing.
At just after 2PM, two IDF soldiers were moderately wounded and one soldier was lightly wounded from a rocket that exploded in the Eshkol Regional Council. The two soldiers were evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva for treatment. Notification was given to their families.
