Nu... Is it Kosher?

Leading up to the Sukkot holiday, Etrogim (plural for Etrog) are checked to make sure they are kosher for use on the holiday as part of the four species.

The Etrog (citron) can't be blemished or have imperfections.

This year, as many Etrogim are from Israel and have Kedushat Sheviit (Shmittah), they have to be treated differently at the end of the holiday. Many people turn them into jam and eat them.
