Ever wonder how every day thousands of people from around the world put a "kvitel" (a small piece of paper with a personal prayer written on it) into the Kotel wall, but yet the Kotel wall is not filled up with "kvitlach"?

It's a miracle!

Just kidding. Twice a year (before Pesach and before Rosh Hashana), Kotel employees clean out the wall from all the prayer tickets.

But not to worry, your prayers are not thrown into the garbage. They're put into a "Geniza" - a special storage for holy writings.
