Update: School Guard Attacked in Afula

Initial reports indicate that 2 masked people attacked a school guard in the northern town of Afula, at the Nofim school, according to a TPS report.

The attack happened around 7:30 AM.

The 50-year-old guard was lightly to moderately injured according to MDA, and the guard says the attackers stole his weapon.

The guard has a head injury after being hit with an iron pole.

The attackers have escaped.

Police believe the attack was criminal, apparently in order to steal his weapon.

Searched are going on for the attackers.
