Stabbing Attack in Gilo

A man, age 43, was stabbed in his upper body in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo. The call came into MDA at 7:05 AM on Sunday. He was treated by medics from United Hatzalah.

The wounded man, who is conscious and listed in moderate condition, was transported to Sharei Tzedek Medical Center.

At Sharei Tzedek his condition was upgraded to seriously wounded.

Security forces are searching for the stabber.

Police have not yet determined if the attack was criminal or terror.

Update: Four men from Jerusalem have been arrested in connection to the attack. The police emphasize that this was criminal, not terror-related.
