Israel’s largest freshwater source is only 7.3 inches short of maximum capacity, with more rain forecast for later this week.
It was in fact Israel, not Palestinians or journalists, who began spreading the older photos, in order to generate credibility for the “slander” angle.
It has been more than 20 years since the dam at the Kinneret had to be opened to prevent flooding. Thanks to desalinated water, the flood gates may have to be opened again this year.
