The Farhud (“violent dispossession” (in Arabic), the two-day pogrom that befell the Jews of Baghdad occurred 75 years ago on Shavuot in 1941.
What if you differ on how things really happened and therefore now you feel like you have done something wrong?
It seems as thought everyone has a difficult someone (or sometimes more than one) in their life.
So even if their parnassah was dependent on their listening, how would they be motivated by something so mundane as earning their daily bread?
