we are reading the book of Vayikra or Leviticus, which contains lots and lots of laws about 'Korbanot' - or 'sacrifices'. Many people find this part of the Bible dry and uninteresting. What's the real message we need to understand to grow closer to G-d?

As a matter of course, Vizhnitz devotes little or no time to learning about sexual orientation, other than those well known verses in Leviticus that frown on guys behaving like girls.
The ritual of kashrut may help us become more conscious of our responsibilities to live ethical lives.
