Terror Attack Averted at Qalandia Checkpoint

Around 2 PM on Tuesday, a car began speeding towards security personnel manning the Qalandia checkpoint, according to the Israeli Police.

The security guards opened fire at the vehicle, and the car stopped.

A woman got out, armed with a knife, yelling "Allahu Akbar".

The security guards then overpowered and arrested her.

No one was injured in the attack.

The Qalandia checkpoint protects the entrance to northern Jerusalem, near Ramallah.
