Update: Terrorist Killed in Stabbing Attempt at Jerusalem Checkpoint

An Arab terrorist was shot and killed while trying to stab a Border Police officer at the Kiosk checkpoint near Abu Dis east of Jerusalem after 3 p.m. (8 a.m. EST) Tuesday.

The attacker lunged at the policeman with a knife while screaming "Allahu akbar."

It was the third attempt to stab and murder Jews in Jerusalem today. No one was injured in the incidents except for the terrorists.

All of them were shot, except for one teenager who was apprehended in a stabbing attack with another teenaged accomplice, his cousin, on a Jerusalem Light Rail train. The second attacker was shot.

Palestinian Authority terrorists tried to kill Jewish drivers and passengers on Highway 443, which connects Jerusalem and Modi'in. No one was hurt, and soldiers are searching for the terrorists.

In Hebron, an Arab was taken into custody after guards discovered he was carrying a knife.
