Ze'ev Elkin: The Heir Apparent

On Thursday night, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat arrived at the wedding of the grandson of Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem Rav Shlomo Amar, and son of Rav Avi Amar. Travelling with Barkat was Minister for Jerusalem Affairs Ze'ev Elkin.

Elkin is running for mayor of Jerusalem and has received the endorsement of Prime Minister Netanyahu.

It looks like Elkin is Barkat's choice too.
