Three Cheers For IRF’s Mandating Prenuptial Agreements

Perhaps later generations will not judge us poorly for our inability to find a halachic solution to the agunah problem – since we genuinely do not have one that we think works and many of us are looking as hard as we can. But future generations will judge us poorly for lacking the fortitude to mandate the use of a solution we know works, but only if we use it.
