Now needing to protect the Jewish State's new offshore gas reserves in the Mediterranean, Israel's Navy has to be in top form. The Navy just became stronger with the arrival of a new German submarine called TANIN (sea monster). Retired Rear-Admiral Nir Maor, who served in the submarine corps, is now Director of the Israel's Clandestine Immigration and Naval Museum. He tells Yishai about the birth of Israel's navy during the pre-state clandestine immigration efforts, recalls the memory of the Dakar sub which was lost in 1968 along with its 69 sailors, and details Israel's increasing naval power today.

Plus, Yishai opines on how Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu makes great speeches, but always seems to blunder at the end. Then, VOI's Arab Affairs Correspondent Bassem Eid suggests that the Arab street is attracted to ISIS because it is seen as a liberation movement from their own failed Arab leaders.
