Following all the exposure of incitement and anti-Semitism in the UNRWA schools, there was pressure on UNWRA to clean up the books and the curriculum they're teaching from all the anti-Semitism. Khaled Abu Toameh reports that it won't be happening, "UNRWA says it has no intention to change textbooks and will continue to teach according to Palestinian Authority curriculum." The decision was made by The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Pierre Krähenbühl. The announcement came after threats by Hamas and the Palestinian Authority who said the planned changes were "unacceptable". During the last Gaza war, it was discovered that UNRWA schools were used for store missiles and weapons.
