US Suspects ISIS Did Not Down Jordanian F-16

The US claims that it is unlikely that ISIS shot down the Jordanian F-16 near Raqqa with a heat-seeking missile.

US Central Command said, "Evidence clearly indicates that ISIL (IS) did not down the aircraft as the terrorist organisation is claiming."

Jordan initially said that the plane had been shot down, but now the US is investigating if the plane went down due to a mechanical fault.
