Zikit Action Park

Just outside of Maaleh Adumim, a mere 10 minutes from Jerusalem, is the Zikit Action Park.

From the highway, it looks kind of small, but there is enough to do there to fill up an entire day.

Unlike other action parks, Zikit stands out in that you actually have to be physically active to participate in the rides.

The race karts need pedaling, no motors here. There are paddle boats and kayaks in the nice artificial lake to rent (and you can sail them right through the water spray), and a rope challenge to cross (Deer Land in Gush Etzion beats them on the rope challenge).

Did I mention the cliff jumping for kids...

The best though. was their hour-long outdoor laser tag game with Tavor rifles... I won.

Expect to sweat, and if you didn't, then you didn't experience the park, unless you were sitting the entire time in their Kaffit dairy restaurant (get the spaghetti).
