Israel Police Ban Taser Guns Until Further Notice

In response to the shocking video of Israeli police repeatedly zapping a passive, non-resisting Boaz Albert with a Taser gun, police chief Yochanan Danino has ordered a temporary halt to the use of the weapon.

Danino has ordered the review of the weapon and how the police use it. Until the review is completed, all use of the weapon is frozen.

The decision was made after the court determined that there was absolutely no need for the massive and repeated use of the Taser gun on Thursday by the police against the helpless victim.
