Dr. Simcha Chesner and Dr. Sara Markowitz

Dr. Chesner’s entire professional career has been devoted to supporting children, adolescents, teens, and adults with ADHD. Since the early 1990s, he has been leading groups for parents and educators. Prior to making aliyah in 1991, Dr. Chesner practiced as a clinical psychologist in Ohio, where he led the Institute for Family and Educational Enrichment. Dr. Markowitz is the founding director of an Intensive Outpatient Program for Jewish Women at Achieve Behavioral Health, the largest behavioral health center serving the greater Jewish community. Dr. Markowitz continues to develop curriculum and measure clinical outcome research for ADHD parenting groups and the integration of ADHD individuals within the Jewish community. She is also the rebbetzin of Congregation Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn, N.J.
