The pro of being milchig is that you don’t have to wait any time at all to eat fleishig. You just wash your mouth out with water and then have fleishig. Some actually wait thirty minutes.

The lesson of all advances in technology is – moderation. Can we learn to use it when we need it and not get addicted? This is the challenge that all of us need to conquer.
The reason we are put here on earth is not only to be a great person and correct our issues that will come up during our lives, but also to have children that will follow in the path of Torah and continue the branches of our tree.
You do not have to wait until you win an Academy Award to show hakaras hatov. You can thank people every single day.
Based on this small sample size you might say that the name Shmuel carries power but also is a big burden to bear. Of course, you can probably say that with every name!
Why the women first? Because they would learn the Torah that they needed to learn and then tell it to the children. They would teach the children!
You can say things like, “It’s “mamesh a gevalt.” In this context it means wow – that is an unbelievable thing.
Where I grew up in Queens, N.Y., we were a little more lenient. We never cut off our peyos, but we also were allowed to cut them below the bone.
