Rabbi David Polsky

Rabbi David Polsky is the rabbi of Congregation Anshe Sfard (www.anshesfard.org). Anshe Sfard is located in the heart of New Orleans, less than two miles from its French Quarter, Convention Center, Central Business District, and Superdome. The shul hosts tourists, conventioneers, business travelers, and other visiting groups. The Greater New Orleans area has a day school and a pluralistic day school. Kosher establishments include three kosher restaurants, a pareve (and gluten-free) bakery, beignet (French donut) stands, as well as catering. Metairie (the adjacent suburb to New Orleans) has an eruv, while an eruv for downtown New Orleans is in the works. Rabbi Polsky can be reached at rabbi@anshesfard.org.
