Sea-Based Iron Dome Intercepts Incoming Missiles

The IDF successfully tested a seaborne version of the Iron Dome system on Monday. The system is designed to protect Israel's offshore assets from attack.

In the test, missiles are launched from land, and the floating Iron Dome system, which was placed on a navy ship, launched intercept rockets which then successfully take out the missiles.

Hamas and Hezbollah are working on rockets that can hit Israel's offshore natural gas platforms.
