South Florida Officials Plant Trees for Tu B’Shevat

Mayor Martin Packer and Councilman Seth Salver of the Village of Bal Harbour and Commissioner Salley Heyman of Miami Dade County each planted a tree on Sunday, February 1, in Haulover Park. The planting was held in observance of Tu B'Shevat. The event was held in cooperation with the Miami-Dade Chapter of Wizo women's organization. Trees planted in Haulover Park were matched by trees planted in Israel.
