Mayor Martin Packer and Councilman Seth Salver of the Village of Bal Harbour and Commissioner Salley Heyman of Miami Dade County each planted a tree on Sunday, February 1, in Haulover Park. The planting was held in observance of Tu B’Shevat. The event was held in cooperation with the Miami-Dade Chapter of Wizo women’s organization. Trees planted in Haulover Park were matched by trees planted in Israel.
