Suspected Vehicular Terrorist Incident in Jerusalem

Late Wednesday evening, April 15, a vehicle slammed into two Israelis waiting at a bus stop in the French Hill neighborhood of Jerusalem.

The incident took place at the intersection of Ramat Eshkol and Route One.

A 20 year-old female soldier and a 30 year-old male civilian were struck by the car. The two injured Israelis were taken to Ein Kerem Hospital for treatment; both were reportedly seriously wounded.

The incident is being treated as a possible terrorist attack. A suspected Arab terrorist was lightly injured and also taken to hospital.

Eye witnesses are claiming it appeared the driver drove into the people are purpose.

Jerusalem's Mayor Nir Barkat was photographed at the scene of the incident.
