Ann Hood is a best-selling author of 13 novels, including "The Knitting Circle," "The Obituary Writer," and her memoir, "Comfort: a Journey Through Grief."

She shares her fascinating life tale with Yishai: how she started reading at the age of four; how she wrote her first story when she was angry at her grandmother; and how she ultimately became a writer -- by filling notebooks during breaks as a TWA flight attendant.

Then, pioneered by MK Rabbi Binyamin Elon, the Israel Allies Foundation (IAF) works with the US Congress and parliaments around the world to mobilize political support for Israel, based on Judeo-Christian values. IAF Executive Director Willem Griffioen and Deputy Director Joseph Sabag join Yishai in-studio to talk about their endeavor.
