2000-Year-Old Oil Lamp Discovered in the City of David

An intact oil lamp was discovered in Jerusalem's City of David's Pilgrimage Road. The road leads up from the Shiloah pool up to the Temple Mount. The lamp dates from between the Hasmonean (Chashmonaim) to Roman periods.
