Transforming Days Of Sadness Into Days Of Joy

Women and girls of the South Florida community gathered for a spiritual morning of prayer, inspiration, and ahavat Yisrael on behalf of the people of Israel and Jews all over the world. The program took place on Tisha B’Av, Tuesday, August 5, at The Shul of Bal Harbour, 9450 Collins Avenue in Surfside. Several hundred women and girls attended the uplifting presentation.

The theme of the event was “Together Let us Rebuild our Holy Beis HaMikdash on Tisha B’Av.” The Shul of Bal Harbor’s rebbetzin, Chani Lipskar, joined with Rebbetzin Rena Gruenstein of Young Israel of Bal Harbour and with Rebbetzin Michal Oziel and Miriam Elmaleh for this truly stirring event.

The cooperation of the rebbetzins of the Surfside, Bal Harbour, and Bay Harbor area was a heartwarming sign of unity and love and proved the perfect way to change tears into smiles on Tisha B’Av.
